School Meals

Please see the attached letter for information on how to make School Dinner money payments.

School meals currently cost £2.60 -  £13.00 per week.

Any changes to school meal patterns need to be in writing, to the school office with one week notice.

Please check and apply online with St Helens Council  here if you feel you may be entitled to free school meals and milk.  Knowsley Council residents will need to download a form (we can print this for you if you like) please follow the link here for further information.

All children throughout school choose their meals one week in advance ensuring that they will get the meal of their choice each day.

Please note that dessert choices may be substituted this term as it may not be possible to serve some menu items in the classrooms.

Universal Infant Free School Meals

From September 2014, all children in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal under the universal school meal scheme.  Parents must inform school if they want their child to take this option.

Children bringing a packed lunch need a clearly named lunch box,  It is our policy to ask children to take home any uneaten food in their lunch box so that you will be aware of how much has not been eaten.  Please do not send fizzy drinks as these will be replaced by water and we would ask you to provide a healthy balanced lunch box.

Further information about school meals can be found on St Helens Council website. https://www.sthelens.gov.uk/article/2882/Primary-school-meals
