About Us
Longton Lane CP School serves the local community and all children are encouraged to learn to live together and to treat other people with care and consideration. School was built and had a phased opening in 1955 and consists of two buildings. Key Stage 2 has four classes which are all housed in one building together with a large hall for dining, PE and assembly, a kitchen, two large and well-equipped resource rooms, a library and IT room, staffroom and office space. Our Reception and Key Stage 1 children are all housed in a second building which also contains a large resource room, hall for assembly and PE lessons and our Nurture room as well as a dedicated IT Suite, Headteacher, Caretaker and office areas. School is very fortunate to have a large playground for each Key Stage and a large playing field which incorporates our woodland and outdoor play area.
